The Backtesting tool allows you to check the yield of a system during the past seasons.
We will be able to analyze over time the yield, hit rate, average odds, sample and units won by leagues and teams according to the filters that we are going to add and that we are going to explain in this article.
When we go the Backtesting tool, a default system appears that we can begin to modify.
In this screen we see 4 panels
1. System Report
Here we can see data of Yield, Units, Hit Ratio, Sample, Average odd and maximum DrawDown. We can see this data according to all the seasons that we have included, last 7 days, 30 days, Last season and since creation of the system
2. Backtesting Results
Here we have the leagues included and we will be able to open each one of them to see the game that have historically entered the system, divided by league and with the same information as in the Report panel of the system.
3. System Picks
Here we see information on future game (up to 5 days) that will be included in our system. We have the date, league, match, bookmaker odd, real odd and value.
4. System Description
This panel is where we see all the information on leagues, markets, filters, units and all the parameters with which we configure our system and which we will explain in this tutorial.
To start modifying this system to create a new one, we must open the filter window that is in the upper right part.
Before starting the editing and creation of a system you should know that when you want to save a system you must go to the upper right and click on the button “Save changes to a new system”, and we also have the option to overwrite a system in case that we modify.
We give it a name and a description.
To load a system we also go to that menu, but this time to the first icon to open the menu with all the systems that we have created.
In this menu we can load the systems, delete them, activate them so that the picks appear in the Dashboard and in the Official Betpractice Android App, as well as share them with the rest of the community.
