How to filter a game by the favorite team losing

Many users asked for a filter for the alarms through which they can filter by the soccer favorite team, in order to receive notifications and that one of the filters be that the favorite team is below the scoreboard. For a few days we can activate this filter in our general alarms.

How does the favorite team losing filter work?

To activate it we must go to the general alarm tool, and in the Live section (or live filters) we will see a button to choose between the correct marker filter and the favorite team losing filter.

Simply by clicking on the button, the “Favourite Team Losing” Special Event filter will appear and it would already be active, you do not have to do anything else to activate that filter.

The goal is to add more special filters and in the future it will be necessary to select the special filter from among all those available, but for now just selecting the Special Event button is automatically selected.

How to read the favorite team losing filter?

When we activate this filter, what we are doing is telling Betpractice to filter us if the team that is losing had a lower pre-game closing price on Bet365 than its rival . Let’s look at some examples:

In the Midtjylland – Lazio match, the favorite team would be Lazio, since they have an odds (@1.93) lower than their rival (@3.8)
In the Feyenoord – Sturm Graz match, the favorite team would be Feyenoord, since they have an odds (@1.36) lower than their rival (@7.5)
In the Olympiakos – Freiburg match, the favorite team would be Freiburg, since they have an odds (@2.38) lower than their rival (@2.9)

It must be remembered that the odds that will be taken will be the closing odds, that is, minutes before the match begins.

How to use the favorite losing team filter?

As in all the tools of the Betpractice suite, the user’s intention and premises are what determine the direction and objective of his strategy. This is why there is no single way to use the filter , and the same filter may have the intention of searching for one more goal for a user and at the same time for another user it will be the indicative to enter under. Let’s see it with an example:

We have configured this alarm so that it notifies us if the favorite team is losing (we can see that the filter is active in the alarm with the message “Favourite Team Losing”) from minute 70 and that between the two teams they add at least 10 shots totals.

With this approach, a user can receive the alarm and see that it is the home team that is losing and that they are only losing by 1 goal, so they will understand that the home team will attack as much as possible to at least draw at home and that the goal is likely to come, either on his part by going all out or conceding a goal due to leaving too many spaces behind.

Another user can have these same filters and understand that the team that was not the favorite is winning away from home at the end of the match and that therefore they will put their 11 players in their area and cause time losses until the match ends 0-1.

Same filters, same party, different points of view. At Betpractice you have the tools to build your strategies and customize them so that you make the final decision.
