Today we will talk about the TREND OVER preset, with which we will look for games where we expect goals and include them in our betting over strategy.
How to find games with lots of goals?
To do this we will go to the PREGAME tool inside the Betpractice suite and we will click on ADD A PRESET, and in the section BP PRESETS we will load the TREND OVER preset.
In the description box of the preset we see the filters that will be applied to the list of matches of the day and that will leave us a filtered list with the matches of the day in which many goals are expected, the filters are as follows:
- More than 80% (Odds lower than 1.25) of Over 1.5 goals in the game
- More than 55% (Odds lower than 1.82) of Over 2.5 goals in the game
- More than 45% (Odds lower than 2.22) of Over 3.5 goals in the game
- More than 70% (Odds lower than 1.43) of Over 0.5 goals before half-time
- More than 40% (Odds lower than 2.5) of Over 1.5 goals before half-time
- More than 60% (Odd lower than 1.67) of Both Teams to Score YES (optional market)
With this we will get a very interesting list of gane of the day with a clear tendency to have goals, since in the past there were goals.
For example, this is the list of matches for December 15, 2020 using all the leagues available on Betpractice (this will depend on the leagues you have included in your active profile).
The Real Odd (the number next to the blue Betpractice icon above the bet365 odds) will also depend on the sample assigned to you in your active profile. All of this is set up in the Account Management pane:
Betting strategy over 2.5 with value on pregame
One of the features we like the most about Betpractice is the ease with which we can find value. As you may well know, betting with value gives you a fundamental advantage when it comes to going one step ahead of bookmakers, and with Betpractice it’s very easy to find matches and incorporate them into a strategy to bet on preparing in those matches where there is value.
In the image above we can filter to show us only those matches in which there was value in the market over 2.5. To filter we will simply add Filters and filter with a minimum value of 0 as follows:
This will show us only game that had market value of more than 2.5 goals in the match, i.e. where the bookmaker is paying more than it should.
With this we would have a daily list of games in which many goals are expected perfect to use in a strategy to bet on over 2.5 with prepared value
Betting strategy Over 2.5 in live
If you think a market’s odds are very low in pregame, you have the option to go live. In addition, with Betpractice you can use the alerts to notify you when that market reaches the odd that you are interested in. Let’s take the example of this same market to make a live strategy to bet on Over 2.5, that is, that there are at least 3 goals in the match.
Click on “SET MULTIPLE ALARMS” and set the alarm to Live Mode in such a way that we tell you a share of 1.8 onwards for the Over 2.5 market. This way when the market of more than 2.5 goals reaches @1.8 we will receive a notification on our smartphone via Telegram or the official Betpractice APP. We will also receive a notification on our laptop.
In this way we are increasing the price of the odds in a match in which many goals are expected, so we are entering with advantage.
