Advanced Filters

So far we have included all the matches of all the leagues that we have put into the basic filters. It is in this section of advanced filters where we begin to exclude games according to the filters that we configure here.

a. Bookmaker Odds
We filter the chosen market by the odd that the bookmaker is offering. For example we could filter the local winner market between odds @ 1.3 and @ 1.5 to see if a local winner system that the bookmaker thinks is a favorite has been profitable (if the bookmaker assigns a odds between @ 1.3 and @ 1.5 is because he thinks he is very favorite).
In this section we have an option that is “Optimum Bookmaker Odds”. What this filter does is include only those games in which the bookmaker thinks that the market we have in our system is the most likely.
For example, if we are working with the local winner market, it will only include those matches in which the bookmaker thinks that the local winner market is the most likely compared to the draw and away winner market. If you are working with the Over 2.5 market, it will only include those matches in which the bookmaker that assigns you a lower odd than over 2.5 compared to Under 2.5

b. Real Odds & Value
Here we can filter both by real odd and by value.
If we use this type of filters we have to tell Betpractice with what real odd we want to work in Backtesting, and for this we must go to the REAL ODDS PROFILE section that is at the bottom of all filters.

As in the BOOKMAKERS ODDS filter, we can filter by optimum real odds, that is, so that they are only included in the system those parties in which the real odd is the most probable of all the options.
For example, if we are working with the local winner market, it will only include those matches in which the real share of the local winner market is the most likely compared to the draw and away winner. If you are working with the Over 2.5 market, it will only include those matches in which the real quota is a lower quota than over 2.5 compared to Under 2.5.

b1. Real Odds Profile
We remember that only those real odds that we have created in the Profile panel will appear. To learn more about the management and creation of real odds, we recommend you see the Profile tutorial.
Once we have our real odd profile with which we want to work, we can apply filters in the same way as in the BOOKMAKERS ODDS section.

For example, we could filter so that it only shows us matches in which there was value, placing a filter with a minimum value of 0.

c. Game Number
You can remove the beginning and the end of the leagues with this type of filter in the that you can remove from the system from one match day to another, for example we can eliminate from the first to the fourth games both the home team and the away with this filter.

d. Exact Days
There are users who prefer to exclude the games that are played during the week, or on Fridays, or on Mondays … Any day or days can be excluded from our system simply by selecting it in this section.

e. Exact Months
Here we can filter to include only those months that we want. If we do not select any, all of them are included and therefore the entire season.

f. Betting the Opposite

This filter is useful to include in our system those matches in which the bookmaker and the real odds offer different markets as the most likely within the same category.

For example, if for a match the bookmaker considers that Over 2.5 is more likely than Under 2.5 but the actual Betpractice odds say otherwise, then that game enters our system.
It is the ideal filter for the creation of betting systems against the market

g. Compare with Bookmaker

In this filter we include a second bookmaker in our systems to apply a filter and include only those games in which that bookmaker offers a different odd between the percentage level that we indicate.

For example, we can include only those game in which Betfair offers an odd of between 1% and 3%.

h. Additional Markets
In this filter we include a second market in our system. What we do is include a market and put odds filters on it, it can be both real odds and one of the available bookmakers.
For example, if we are designing a system Over 3.5 goals, we can include filter additional market so that only the parties in Bet365 offers a odd for Over 2.5 between @ 1.6 and @ 1.9included

i. Customs Odds Margin
Here we filter and include games using the main markets and the rest of the markets inside the same category.
For example if we are creating a Home FT system and we are looking for a very favorite teams, we can use this filter to include only the games when the Home FT market has a big difference (expressed in %) with the rest of the markets (draw and Away FT).

To confirm any change we must click on “Apply the changes”

There are 4 types of filters and within each one we are going to differentiate sub-filters. You can read about more filters here.
